Condolences

Condolence From: Rebecca Goble
Condolence: With sympathy please accept my condolences. My heart goes out to your family. Death of our love ones is something we will never get use too. In fact...Gods word refers to death as an enemy. Very soon our heavenly father Jehovah God will remove death once and for all and give us the chance to see our love ones again on a renewed paradise earth.( 1 Corinthians 15:26; Revelation 21:3&4)

Condolence From: Marianne Foster Drastata
Condolence: I will keep Lena and your family in my prayers. Lena called me Christmas Day and we had talked about our fun days at St. Theresa and in Feb. we were going to try and get as many of our classmates to meet us for lunch. I remember our 8th grade Christmas party where we were her back up and Lena sang O Holy Night I told her that I always remember how beautiful she sang. St. Peter must be walking around heaven wondering what to do as she is singing better than his angels. Our class has lost a great friend and a wonderful person.

Condolence: Marianna and family, I am so sorry and shocked to hear of Lena's unexpected passing. She was a wonderful friendly neighbor who was always willing to help out where she could. You and your boys were the most important thing in her life. We moved to Waxahachie and were expecting her to come up some time. Take care of yourself, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

Condolence From: Jackie Tamez
Condolence: Marianna and family, I was deeply sadden and shocked when my mom (Theresa Martino O’Grady) called me with the sad news, unexpected passing of Lena Jane. Lena was truly one of a kind! A sweet soul, wonderful personality, a smile and laugh that lit-up a room…when Lena Jane was around, laughter was had by all! I know without a doubt, my mom will miss Lena very much. Lena’s daily phone calls, witty jokes, asking mom’s advice on this-n-that and of course, the many, many laughs they shared!! There are so many special moments I shared over the years with “Aunt Lena” as she affectionately referred herself to me and I will cherish the memories, always!
Prayers and Blessings,
Jackie Tamez

Condolence From: Donna K DeVries
Condolence: Lena Jane was such a special lady to so many people. When us girls, Marianna, Janet and Kay and myself, got together for our regular lunches and she joined us, she truly was "one of the girls". Growing up with our "sister mother" there was never a dull moment. Always hilarity and a good time. A woman with style and class who always uplifted our spirits. She always made a point to pay a compliment to people -- deserving or not. It's just one of the things I think I remember most about her but one I admired the most. She will be deeply missed and will always hold a special place im my heart.

Condolence From: Joe Cotrone
Condolence: Marianna, AJ & Family we are all so deeply shocked with the unexpected passing of your Mom, my cousin Lena Jane. She was always a joy to be around. I loved in these later years of doing our Birthday Lunches with her dear friends. The several trips of your Mom going to a few Rodeo functions with me, be it Lifetime Committee Meetings, Swine Breakfast & Auction, Wine Tasting, etc. We always enjoyed each others company. The many stories of always sharing how proud she was of both her Marianna, Aj & her Grand Children. I promise she loved you all and this was the focus of her life.
Wishing the Family the Best at this time
Cousin Baby Joe Cotrone( as she often referred to me)

Condolence: How sad and a surprise to see this on FB. We haven't talk to Lena in while. We spent a lot of time with Lena years ago. She was funny and had a great personality! We will miss talking to her. Marianna, so sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Mary Pat and Steve

Condolence From: Williams Family
Condolence: The loss of a cherished loved one is the most devastating experiences a family can face. At times, the loss may seem unbearable. Please know that there are family and friends who care and more importantly Psalm 34:18 tells us that "God is near to those that are broken at heart. He is the God of all comfort. God will comfort you during this difficult time of grief. Our prayers are also with you and your family.
