Obituary for James “Jimmy” Alvin Morin

James “Jimmy” Alvin  Morin
James Alvin Morin, of Houston, Texas passed into the arms of our Lord on February 24, 2018 at the age of 67.

James Alvin Morin was born February 22, 1951 in Houston, Texas and was the son of Alvin and Alvina Morin. James was known by all as “Jimmy” and he lived his life to the fullest and loved the outdoors, fishing, and spending time with his friends listening to live music.

James is survived by his sister, Marie Curry of Houston TX, and her husband Thomas Curry, and their two children as well as his sister-in-law Diane and two children from her marriage to Albert. James is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Alvina Morin and big brother Albert Morin.

A chapel service to celebrate Jimmy’s life will take place on Saturday, March 3rd at 11:00 a.m. for friends and family. Visitation is at 10 a.m., preceding the service. All services will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 1101 Antoine Dr., Houston, TX 77055.

In lieu of customary remembrances, and for those desiring, contributions may be made in memory of James Morin to: The Periwinkle Foundation, Houston’s Children Charity for Cancer Patients, 3400 Bissonnet St. #185, Houston, TX 77005.
