Obituary for Cynthia Lynn Mondy Howard
Cynthia Lynn Mondy Howard passed on to Heaven on March 25, 2018. She was born at St. Joseph Hospital on February 25, 1958 in Houston, Texas to Clement Ray Mondy, Jr. and Peggy Joyce Bowen Mondy.
Cindy graduated from Northwest Academy in 1976 and attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas for two years. She worked for the family-owned business in Houston and for an employment agency in Dallas. She was currently a manager of a security agency in the Dallas Metroplex.

She loved to go fishing and spent hours “reeling ‘em in” at Lake Tawakoni and Kemah. Cindy was proud of her Texas roots and was known as “Aunt Tex” to her nephews and nieces. She made sure all the children and adults in the family learned to play dominoes and 42.
Cindy was also a member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 560 and a Paul Harris Fellow (Rotary).
Cindy is predeceased by her father, Clem Mondy and brother, Charles Alan Mondy. She is survived by her mother, Peggy Mondy; her sons, Christopher Alan Halik and Douglas Benjamin Howard; sister, Catherine Mondy Boyce; aunt, Dr. Alice V. White; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
